I am running static failure analysis of titanium grade 1 35 micron thick corrugated plate compressing it in between rigid plates beyond UTS and looking for force reaction. E - 100 GPa, UTS - 322 MPa. Plate is meshed with shell elements.
I am using MISO plasticity model. I have used range of compression in order to push stress beyond 322 MPa but irrespective of all the changes in compression and contact settings, stress is not exceeding beyond 310 MPa. However its increasing linearly in elastic model but results doesnt make any sense. Can anybody tell me why its behaving in this way?
