Hi all,

I am trying to run a beam element model which contains tube in tube constraints. These contact constraints are supposed to constrain the structure laterally. However, no matter what options I try, I cannot get the contact elements to recognize each other when I issue CNCHECK. Thus, there is rigid body motion.


I tried the close gap option as well as cncheck, adjust with no effect.

Just wondering if there is some special setting to get these contacts to, well, contact.



I have attached the APDL input file; the contacts are defined at the end.
