I was trying to grab some screen shots of a temperature plot, but when I rotate the model to where I want it, one side of the model is rather dark. I can't figure out how to change where the light sources are in Mechanical.

If you click on the "Model" branch, you get controls for specular, diffuse, etc. but these don't seem to change the lighting on contour plots. I also found a blog post by PADT, but that doesn't mention the light location. (http://www.padtinc.com/blog/the-focus/making-pretty-plots-in-ansys-mechanical-and-mechanical-apdl)

Does anyone know how to change the light location in Mechanical?

Thanks,
Aaron

John, thanks for the help, but I'm working in WB. Anyone know how to fix the lights in WB?

Click on "Model" in the tree. In the details pane you can adjust the
lighting.

I tried that, but I can only adjust the quality of the lights, not the location, right - ambient, diffuse, and specular?

What I would like is to reposition the lights so one side of the model isn't dark.

/LIGHT is an APDL command. I'm looking for an equivalent command in the WB GUI. I don't want to build a whole command object just to get a picture of my results. That would probalby take an hour of futzing around, googling, searching these archives, and reading the manual - definately not worth the time.
