Dear All,

I`m developping ansys subroutine to specify material behavior using USRSHIFT function.

There are two problems I cannot resolve:

1. Is it possible to get number of all integration points from subroutine (or even from APDL code), have found anything about.

Surely ANSYS calls USRSHIFT for each integration point and using
get_ElmInfo number of int.points can be pulled out and summarized after all integration points will be operated, but it is not easy solution. I would like to get that number when I call USRSHIFT first time.

2. Get_ElmInfo subroutine inquires info for "current"/"selected" element.
For example when ANSYS calls USRSHIFT for particular integration point (IP), element which this IP belong to will be selected/current.
Is it possible to select another element somehow? And make a cycle inside subrotine to select element one by one?

Any comments and info about will be appreciated.

I think your only realistic chance of getting a response is to post the question to the mailing list (at xansys-temp@xansystest.info) rather than the forum
