[APDL] continue after unconverged solution

Dear fellow ANSYS users,

I am doing multiple nonlinear dynamic analysis using three nested do loops.

First DO loop changes material property, second changes earthquake time history and third actually applied ground acceleration to my model.

Program flow is like this

!---------------------------------------------------------------
Build basic model.
*DO,ii,1,10 ! 1st DO loop for 10 materials
! Chane material property to ii

*DO,jj,1,25 ! 2nd DO loop for 25 earthquake time histories
!Read "jj"th earthquake time history and number of steps in it

*DO,kk,1,jjTSTEPS !3rd DO loop
! Apply earthquake acceleration to model
solve
*ENDDO
/post26 !extract desired results

*ENDDO

*ENDDO
!---------------------------------------------------------------

My program works fine when all analysis converge. But if any analysis fails to converge, ANSYS stops everything and closes program run.

I tried using ncnv,2 command, but its of no use. Run still terminates.

Is there any way in which I can get results for all 10 x 25 analysis? ANSYS should simply go to next analysis is some analysis fails to converge.

Any suggestion is very much needed and appreciated.

Hi,

Can you try /NERR,,99999999,,0,0. along with ncnv,2 ? I am wondering if there are warning message out of bound and force exiting the APDL.
