I've got a static structural model of an assembly involving large deflection and plasticity.
I had to turn on nonlinear stabilization to get convergence. I'm using Energy / Reduce.
The deformed shape isn't what I thought it would be.
1. How do I know whether or not stabilization is affecting my result? Google isn't helping. Either I'm not using the right search terms or the results are over my head.
2. Even though I'm using "Reduce", the stabilization energy ramps up to the max value at the end of LS1, then stays constant through the remaining LS. That's not my definition of reducing. Can anyone explain?
