Hello Everyone,
I am a new ANSYS user. I am trying to change material property of an element in the solution. for that purpose the MPCHG command is used. However, after applying the load, the material is MP1 of the concrete slab is deflecting. hence the boundary conditions are changed. Then while in the solution I change the material to MP2 and I do the solve again to check the increase in deflection due to MP2.
The problem is that after finishing the solution and going to General Postpro to read the results obtained. I can only read the results for the last load step. I can not pick the results for the previous load steps and read them. As it says that the previous load steps have been solved with different Boundary conditions, so I cant see the results for them.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong, or what is the solution to this problem. Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you,

ANSYS adds a load step result to the RST file only if the next "SOLVE"
is issued without having left SOLUTION. Leaving SOLUTION and re-entering
for another SOLVE will overwrite previous results unless you use RESTART.
Read up on restart options (multi frame, single frame) - not one of my
favourite features in ANSYS.
Another way, not elegant, is to rename the RST file before the next
SOLVE and open the appropriate RST file in POST1
Sorry, I'm not using WB
